Well...my oldest is now THREE! We had Annie's birthday party last weekend. Unfortunately, I got sick last week so that is why this post is late. Hopefully our family will start feeling better. David was sick for 2 weeks, Annie for one, Charlotte has an ear infection, and I was sick last week. 2012 started off a little rough with all the sickness, but we are looking forward to feeling great the rest of the year. :)
Here are some of the details from Annie's fun day....
We invited all our family over (about 20 people) and a few friends (bringing the total to over 30). We had pancakes, egg casserole, pecan scones (PW recipe), fruit, and muffins. The kids ate breakfast and then played while the adults mixed and mingled.

Then, it was present time. Annie got so many cute things from everyone, and we have so enjoyed playing with them all!

Then, it was time for cake and cookies. I made the cake and my sister, Christie, made the adorable cookies.

The kids played a bit more and then it was time to go.

Here is the favor table. It also had all the stuff for fruit loop necklaces that the kids made. I wanted to do something else, but it didn't work out. I wasn't too excited about these necklaces, but it turns out that the kids loved them! (Especially Annie!) Charlotte may have even tried a fruit loop or too. :)
I think Annie had a great time, and we were so thankful that everyone came and celebrated our sweet girl. Happy birthday, Annie!
Did I mention that we had fun playing with our new toys?! This is the bathtub fingerpaint that Andrew gave her. It was definitely a hit in this house! :)
