THREE

As I mentioned before, Annie is officially 3! I can't believe it! It's so amazing to me how quickly the time has gone by. I remember everything about the day she was born, and even the days leading up. So much has changed in our lives, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Annie is such a sweet girl. She is funny and silly, and super talkative. Except, she's really only super talkative at home. She is pretty shy around new people, and it is even taking her a while to warm up at school. She loves to read and play games. She likes Mickey's Clubhouse, Pooh, and she LOVES Tinkerbell. She got The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast for Christmas, so those have also become favorites.

She knows all her colors, can count to 10, and can identify numbers and some letters as well. She loves going to church and playgroup. She is getting so tall too. I feel like we were in size 2T clothes forever and in 3T for like a month. I think I'm going to have to start looking at 4T stuff soon. Yipes! :) Her sweet little hair is getting longer and we can now put it in a cute little ponnytail. She has been sleeping in her big girl bed for over a year now, and has always done great. She sleeps from around 8 pm to 8 am, and she still takes about a 2-3 hour nap each day. She loves Charlotte and has always been so good with her. They are starting to disagree about toys these days, but it's never too bad. :)

Annie, you are such a blessing to our family and we are so thankful that God chose us to be your parents. You are a joy to be around and you continually amaze us with how smart and sweet you are. We love you more than words can say. Happy 3rd birthday, sweetheart!

Here is what we did on your 3rd birthday: (January 23, 2012)
We started our morning with a surprise breakfast or sprinkle doughnuts. (Yes, I know she's in Christmas pj's, but oh well.) I know she doesn't look thrilled, but she was....just still a little sleepy. We only get donuts on occasional Sunday mornings before church, so this was a real treat! Charlotte was even excited. She didn't get a donut, but she was thrilled to eat cheerios. Ha! After breakfast, we got dressed in your birthday girl shirt and your new pink crocs and headed to your favorite grocery store, Market Street. This is why it's your favorite....the little carts. We needed to pick up a few things for the dinner you requested that night...spaghetti and meatballs. You even got a special cookie! I think you liked it. :) Charlotte looked super cute that day too,so I had to share a picture of her too! On our way to meet daddy for lunch, we made a quick stop at Chuck E. Cheese's. We were there super early, and apparently, they test the machines everyday. Well, if you are there early, they let you take all the coupons that the machines spit out while getting tested. Bonus! We were there for less than 30 minutes and ended up with over 100 coupons. Ha! You enjoyed your fan and a couple other toys on the way to lunch.

You also got to pick where we met daddy for lunch, and you chose Zuzu's. This is most assuredly your favorite place, and mommy loves it too! :) We enjoyed some yummy mexican food for lunch and enjoyed some special time with daddy.

After that, we headed home for naps, made rainbow cupcakes for your friends at school, enjoyed your favorite dinner, and opened some more presents. I think it was a fun birthday! :)
